Based out of Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, ourresearch group sits at the interface of behavioural, metabolic, population and community ecology, and combines observation- and biologging-based field studies with theoretical modelling. We are primarily interested in 1) what drives activity variation in organisms, 2) what are the consequences of activity variation for individuals, populations and food webs, and 3) how changing seasonality alters energy balance in individuals, species, and food webs.
